Kai The MC is a songwriter, musician, producer and DJ from The Bay Area. Kai writes his own lyrics, creates his own beats, and produces all his songs. A unique combination for a 14 year old prodigy. Music is his passion. As a DJ apprentice to his father, he has had the opportunity to DJ at various large establishments in San Francisco, which developed a passion for music that led him to join Beats, Rhymes, and Life in 2020; a program in Oakland that incorporates the therapeutic power of hip hop and provides an outlet for youth looking to make positive changes in their lives and communities. Kai combines his passion for music and social justice in his songwriting, honoring this long tradition in the origins of hip hop.
